Integrating Crayon with Docket enables seamless ingestion of battle cards from Crayon into Docket, allowing your team to leverage the latest content for knowledge management and answer generation. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to configure the integration between Crayon and Docket.
Prerequisites:
Before starting the integration process, ensure the following:
Admin-Level Access: You must have admin-level access in Docket.
Crayon User Account Credentials: You need the credentials of a Crayon user account to access the required profiles. It is recommended to create a Docket user within Crayon using a service account for this purpose.
Integration Process:
1. Accessing Crayon Integration in Docket:
Navigate to the Integrations page within Docket, located in the Settings menu.
Locate the Crayon app and click on 'Connect'.
2. Authorizing Access:
Enter the email address and password of the Crayon user account.
3. Initiate Content Scraping and Ingestion:
Once the integration is successfully connected, and battle card content ingestion will commence automatically between Docket and Crayon.
The data may take approximately 24 hours to be available for answer generation within Docket.
Important Notes:
Battle Cards Ingestion: We will ingest battle cards with the following statuses:
Published
Published but with unpublished updates
Data Deletion: Disconnecting Crayon from Docket will result in the permanent deletion of all ingested Crayon data from Docket. Users should be cautious of this before proceeding.
Content Syncing: When new content is added, updated, or removed in Crayon, Docket will sync these changes within 24 hours to ensure the latest content is used for answer generation.
