Connecting Salesloft Conversation to Docket enables you to leverage expert sales calls by ingesting and processing conversations. This integration enriches your knowledge base with call recordings. Follow this guide to configure the integration for seamless data synchronization.
Prerequisites
Before starting the integration process, ensure you meet the following prerequisites:
Admin-Level Access: You must have admin-level access in Docket.
API Key: You need an API key from Salesloft.
For detailed instructions on provisioning your Salesloft API key, please refer to the Salesloft API Key Authentication documentation.
Integration Process
1. Accessing the Salesloft Integration in Docket
Navigate to the Integrations page within Docket’s Settings menu.
Locate the Salesloft Conversation app and click Connect.
2. Authorizing Access
After clicking Connect, you will be prompted to enter your Salesloft API key.
Enter the API key to authorize Docket to access your Salesloft data.
3. Selecting Call Users
As a Docket admin, select the specific call users (experts) whose conversations you want to ingest.
You may also filter calls based on deal stages or call titles.
Click Save after selecting your users.
4. Initiating Data Sync
Once connected and users are selected, the data sync will start automatically.
Docket will ingest expert external calls as well as specific internal calls.
For new expert users, Docket will ingest conversations from the past 90 days.
New conversations are ingested on a 24-hour cycle.
Important Notes
Disconnecting: Disconnecting Salesloft from Docket will permanently delete all ingested data.
Data Persistence: When a user is removed via the Docket Integrations page, existing call data remains intact, but future calls will not be ingested.
Data Updates: If conversations are removed from Salesloft, they will be automatically deleted from Docket’s data store and excluded from answer generation.
