Integrating Highspot with Docket enables seamless ingestion of sales content from Highspot into Docket. This integration ensures your team has access to the most relevant and up-to-date materials for knowledge management and answer generation. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to configure the integration between Highspot and Docket.

Prerequisites

Before starting the integration process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  • Admin-Level Access: Docket users must have admin-level access to facilitate a seamless connection with Highspot.

  • Highspot User Permissions: Users can only add spots to Docket for which they have appropriate access in Highspot.

Integration Process

1. Accessing Highspot Integration in Docket

  • Navigate to the Integrations page within Docket, located in the Settings menu.

  • Locate the Highspot app and click on 'Connect'.

  • You will find two Highspot apps:

    • API-Based Integration: Uses API URL and API Credentials. This method will not ingest non-downloadable files from Highspot.

    • User Account Integration: User Account Credentials for ingestion.

2. Authorizing Access

To authorize access to Highspot:

  • API-Based Integration:

    • Enter the required API URL and API credentials from the Developer Settings page within Highspot.

  • User Account Integration:

    • Enter the email address and password of the Highspot user.

    • It is recommended to create a Docket user within Highspot using a service account specifically for this purpose.

3. Selecting Spots and Content Items

  • After connecting Highspot, users can multi-select specific spots from which content will be ingested into Docket.

4. Initiate Content Ingestion and Syncing

  • Once the integration is successfully connected and spots are selected, content ingestion will commence automatically between Docket and Highspot.

  • Please note that it may take approximately 24 hours for the data to be available for answer generation within Docket.

Important Notes

  • Data Deletion: Disconnecting Highspot will permanently delete all ingested data from Docket. Users should be cautioned about this consequence to ensure data integrity and future answer generation.

  • Content Syncing: When new content is added, or existing content is updated or removed in Highspot, Docket will sync these changes within 24 hours to ensure the latest content is used in answer generation.

  • Supported file formats:

    • Document (Microsoft Word, OpenOffice Documents, Google Docs)

    • HTML | SHTML

    • PDF

    • Presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint, OpenOffice Presentations, Keynote, Google Slides)

    • Spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice Spreadsheets, Google Sheets)

    • Text

By following these steps, you can efficiently integrate Highspot with Docket, enabling your team to leverage Highspot content as a valuable knowledge resource for generating accurate answers.
