Connecting Intercom to Docket streamlines your support workflow, empowering Docket to utilize tickets and articles from Intercom for accurate and relevant answers. This guide offers step-by-step instructions to seamlessly configure the integration between Intercom and Docket, ensuring a smooth synchronization of content.


Before initiating the integration process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:

  • Admin privileges are granted in both Docket and Intercom accounts.

Integration Process:

1. Accessing Intercom Integration in Docket:

  • Navigate to the Integrations page within Docket, located in the Settings menu.

  • Locate the Intercom app and click on 'Connect'.

2. Authorizing Access:

  • Upon clicking 'Connect', authorize Docket to access your Intercom workspace.

3. Selecting Help Centers and Ticket Types:

  • Choose the Help Centers containing articles from your company's Intercom that you wish to ingest into Docket.

  • Select the ticket types that you want to be ingested for knowledge generation.

4. Initiate Syncing:

  • Once the integration is successfully connected and the relevant collections and ticket types are selected, data syncing will commence automatically between Docket and Intercom.

Important Notes:

  • Data Deletion: Disconnecting Intercom from Docket will result in the permanent deletion of ingested data from Docket. This data will not be utilized for future answer generation.

  • Resync Process: Any updates made on Intercom will trigger a resynchronization process in Docket to ensure that the latest content is available for answer generation.

  • Only one user can connect to the Intercom account.
