Connecting SharePoint to Docket Sync, SharePoint libraries to capture corporate playbooks, technical references, and process docs.
Prerequisites
Before starting the integration process, ensure you meet the following prerequisites:
You must have admin-level access in Docket.
Docket requires authentication to the M365 instance to fetch relevant information.
Integration Process
1. Accessing the SharePoint Integration in Docket
Navigate to the Integrations page within Docket’s Settings menu.
Locate the SharePoint app and click Connect.
2. Authorizing Access
After clicking Connect, the authentication to the M365 instance completes.
3. Selecting sites and lists
After connecting SharePoint, users can multi-select specific sites and lists within sites to which they have access, from which content will be ingested into Docket.
Click Save after selecting sites and lists.
4. Initiate Content Ingestion and Syncing
Once the integration is successfully connected and sites and lists are selected, content ingestion will commence automatically between Docket and SharePoint.
Please note that it may take approximately 24 hours for the data to be available for answer generation within Docket.
Important Notes
Data Deletion: Disconnecting SharePoint will permanently delete all ingested data from Docket. Users should be cautioned about this consequence to ensure data integrity and future answer generation.
Content Syncing: When new content is added, or existing content is updated or removed in SharePoint, Docket will sync these changes within 24 hours to ensure the latest content is used in answer generation.
We only ingest pages and the document library from selected sites.
The supported file formats
