Prerequisites
Before starting the integration process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
Admin-Level Access: Docket users must have admin-level access to facilitate a seamless connection with Mindtickle CMS.
Mindtickle User Permissions: Users can only add content from Asset hubs to Docket for which they have appropriate access in Mindtickle CMS.
Integration Process
1. Accessing Mindtickle CMS Integration in Docket
Navigate to the Integrations page within Docket, located in the Settings menu.
Locate the Mindtickle CMS app and click on 'Connect'.
2. Authorizing Access
Enter the email address, password, and MFA secret string of the Mindtickle CMS user.
MFA secret string is an alphanumeric code shown below the QR code in the authenticator.
It is recommended that a Docket user within Mindtickle CMS be created using a service account specifically for this purpose.
3. Selecting Asset Hubs and Content
After connecting Mindtickle CMS, users can multi-select specific hubs from which content will be ingested into Docket.
4. Initiate Content Ingestion and Syncing
Once the integration is successfully connected and hubs are selected, content ingestion will commence automatically between Docket and Mindtickle CMS.
Please note that it may take approximately 24 hours for the data to be available for answer generation within Docket.
Important Notes
Data Deletion: Disconnecting Mindtickle CMS will permanently delete all ingested data from Docket. Users should be cautioned about this consequence to ensure data integrity and future answer generation.
Content Syncing: When new content is added, or existing content is updated or removed in Mindtickle CMS, Docket will sync these changes within 24 hours to ensure the latest content is used in answer generation.
