Agentic Answering Modes in Slack
Docket Slack Bot offers two intelligent answering modes to match your needs:
Quick Mode (Default)
Enabled by default for fast responses with minimal wait time
Perfect for straightforward questions requiring immediate answers
Deep Answer Mode
Available via the "Deep Answer" button below any Quick mode response
Takes longer but provides more thorough, comprehensive responses
Best for complex, scenario-based questions requiring detailed analysis
Both modes leverage an AI agent with access to:
Your Sales Knowledge Lake for internal documents and files
Web search capabilities for additional context
File retrieval and summarization tools
Regenerate for an Alternative Answer
If the provided answer doesn’t meet your needs, you can request Docket to regenerate a new response. This feature allows users to explore alternative answers.
Asking Docket questions in Slack
Tag the bot: Type @Docket followed by your question in any Slack channel
Ephemeral notification: You'll immediately receive a brief notification confirming the agent has picked up your task
Get your answer: Once complete, the notification disappears and your answer appears in the thread

Continue the Conversation
Tag to continue: Simply tag @Docket in the thread to ask follow-up questions
Deep Answer option: If you need more detail, click the "Deep Answer" button to get a more thorough response
Maintain context: Once Deep Answer mode is engaged, continue tagging @Docket in that thread to maintain the conversation in Deep Mode.
