This document serves as a comprehensive guide for configuring SAML Single Sign-On (SSO) with JumpCloud for your Docket application.
Prerequisites:
Before you begin, ensure the following:
You have admin-level access to both JumpCloud and Docket.
Access to the JumpCloud admin console.
Setting up SAML SSO with JumpCloud:
To implement SAML-based SSO between JumpCloud and the Docket app, follow these steps to establish the authentication handshake.
Log into your JumpCloud admin console.
Select SSO Applications from the left bar and select Add new application.
Follow The steps on screen to set up a custom application.
Click on Next.
On the next page, select "Manage Single-On (SSO)" and select "Configure SSO with SAML" and click on Next.
Add Name, Description and Logo.
Name: DocketAI
Description: AI Sales Engineer Teammate
Logo:Give a suitable IDP Entity ID (recommended to use a unique Entity ID, in the format given in the image).
Copy and paste SP Entity ID and ACS URL from the Settings page in Docket.
Add additional required Attributes.
Download the Certificate.
We currently accept the certificate in .cert extension. Rename the file to "certificate.cert".
Copy and keep your IDP Entity from step 7 and IDP URL.
Paste The IDP Entity ID, URL and certificate in Docket Settings Page and click Save.
Assign the Docket Application to one User in JumpCloud and test it out.
